All training courses are conducted from our off -road training site at Dewsbury RLFC, Tetley's Stadium. Owl Lane Dewsbury WF12 7RH (please refer to the 'Contact Us'section for site map).

Anchor provide a variety of motorcycle courses to suit every individual irrespective of previous experience.

By law, the maximum pupil to instructor ratio is 2 : 1 when using public roads.

Your two wheeled adventure can start at 16 years of age and ends when you decide!

You must first obtain a Provisional Licence from the DVLA.

Provisional Moped (not exceeding 49cc) entitlement is shown on the licence by the letter 'P'.

Provisional Motorcycle (Exceeding 50cc) is shown by the letter 'A'.

Please note:  For provisional licence holders both Groups 'A' and 'P' are shown in the lower left corner of the photo card licence.

However, if you hold a full licence in any category, the group 'A' entitlement is shown on the A4 counterfoil sheet issued as part of your licence.

Therefore, when attending any course customers are required to produce both parts of the new style photo licences.

Old paper style licences contain all information required and indeed some still show old category entitlements, if in any doubt please contact either Anchor or the DVLA.
